With an average score of 33 points, BSS students scored on average 3 points above the world average from May 2019 session; 37 points being the highest. Students who individually achieved in areas of the diploma included a candidate who scored 20 out of a possible 21 points at HL, scoring the maximum 7 in 2 Foreign Languages.
These remarkable achievements are evidence of our student’s commitment and academic staff’s dedication across all subject areas within the IB DP.
Almost 3000 schools had graduates in IB DP this May in 144 countries. 630 430 exams were taken in 216 subjects. The overall number of students who took the IB DP exams this May was 166 278.
As a British School we are excited that at least 2 of our students will be continuing their education in the UK - Information Technology Management for Business at The University of Manchester and Sports Psychology at St. Mary’s London. Other students plan to go to Spain, Netherlands, Hungary and Serbia.
