Maria has Master`s degrees in Applied Linguistics in English as well as Pedagogy, both from "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Veliko Tarnovo. She is fluent in English language and has an extensive teaching experience in high schools in Bulgaria.

Maria is also a professional translator with a substantial background. At BSS Mariya is IGCSE Leader Grades 9-10 and English Language and Literature Teacher.
