Ralitsa obtained her degree in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. During the second year of her studies, she did five months of volunteer work with children and young people with additional support needs for Aberlour Scotland Children’s Charity. She also has three years of experience as a support worker in the same organisation, providing person-centred support to children and young people with complex physical, learning, and emotional needs.
Upon successfully completing her bachelor’s degree, Ralitsa pursued further academic development by enrolling in a Master’s program in Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Greenwich. While undertaking her postgraduate studies, she also worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, further enhancing her practical experience in the field.
Ralitsa is currently finalising her master’s thesis, which focuses on the stigma surrounding children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is committed to continuing her professional development as a psychologist by pursuing accredited training programs in family counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
