Elena Koleva

Elena has a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Mater degree in Child, Adolescent and School Psychology, both obtained in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. In 2022 she finished a specialization in Family and Couple counselling in “Institude of Family Therapy” Bulgaria. Currently she is continuing her professional development by attending a course in “Empathy” as a skill in interpersonal communication and counselling.

Her role in the school is to provide students, teachers and families with psychological and emotional support, as well as supporting children with educational challenges. "Working in a multidisciplinary team gives me the opportunity to have the necessary points of view and aspects in each case, so we as a school can provide the best type of support."

Her main mission includes not only to provide intervention when needed, but also to focus on prevention and helping the student to build up the emotional intelligence and growth mindset, which are highly needed in today’s reality.
