No matter what genre we enjoy, we’re all touched by the raw talent of children, their interpretation of music or other forms of art.

BSS Got Talent is a staple British School of Sofia (BSS) event. Each year, we give our brightest students the chance to shine on the stage, express themselves, and receive recognition for all the hard work that goes into making a standout performance happen.

If you’re thinking about a regular school concert, you’re gravely underestimating the scale of BSS Got Talent. 

For more than two hours, our best performers entertained the audience and showcased their finest abilities.

We witnessed melodious performances, highly choreographed dance numbers, and even the presentation of new musical pieces created by our students. How many people can brag that they’ve written a song before graduating from school? We can proudly say that one such individual is a valuable member of the BSS community.  

The show had participants compete in several categories based on age group. A special, separate category allowed our dancers to battle it out for the ultimate award and recognition. 

We simply can’t ignore the heartwarming, charming performance delivered by our youngest artists – the BSS ballet class. The little ballerinas demonstrated everything they learned since the beginning of the school year. While they still have a long way to go, the tremendous amount of enthusiasm that went into the performance far exceeded the power of any technical skill.

All of the BSS talents performed in front of an expert jury. Our three-member talent committee put all the performances under a magnifying glass to pick the best of the best. 

Performing arts are a crucial component of the BSS educational programme. They foster creativity, build confidence, and promote cultural awareness. We are fully dedicated to discovering everyone’s unique talent and helping students unleash their full creative potential.

To that end, we make various art-inspired extracurricular activities available. 

The British School of Sofia vocal group has well-established traditions. Our incredible performances have won the hearts of audiences in various countries, receiving top recognition and distinction during international music competitions.

Those who are more drawn to music rather than singing can opt for instrument lessons – we currently make guitar and piano extracurricular activities available.
