Sofiya has been part of the British School of Sofia since 2013, bringing over 12 years of experience in teaching and learning. As the school’s Quality Assurance lead, she works to ensure high standards across the school while supporting teachers and students in developing their thinking skills and Habits of Mind.

She currently teaches Grade 8 and Grade 9, helping students become independent thinkers who can apply what they learn to real-life situations. Sofiya also trains teachers in Visual Tools for Thinking and strategies that make classrooms more reflective, creative, and thought-full.
