Sofiya has been a part of BSS since 2013. Currently she is a 6th grade class teacher, tleader of Primary 2 - from 4th to 6th grade and Thinking Drive Team leader in the school. Her belief is that the school should be a home for the mind, supporting learners to became aware of their own and others’ thinking processes and using these in real-life situations.

She also conducts training workshops for teachers in the field of thinking skills. In June 2018, Sofiya led a workshop, called “Building a Thought-Full Environment”, at the annual Thinking Matters Conference in England.
