Anti-Bullying Week 2019

11 Novr 2019
Anti-bullying Week is a regular event in BSS. This year it took place between 11th and 15th of November.

The aim of this week is to inform students what bullying is and to show young people how to react, ask for advice if needed and defend. All through the week posters and slogans, made by our students, were distributed around the school.

Students from Grade 8 introduced a short presentation about bullying during the general assembly. In front of their younger classmates they showed what bullying means and what are the different forms.

All through the week teachers explained in class the differences between conflict, rude and mean behavior and bullying.

This year the Anti-bullying association suggested the main topic ‘Change starts with us’.

One of the most interesting events during the Anti-Bullying Week is the Odd Socks Day. Students wear a pair of mismatching socks to show that difference is not something one should be judged for.
