What else gets a group of young people more energised than a competition?

This month, our four houses DRAGON, KRAKEN, PHOENIX, CENTAUR competed in three categories: Sport, Art and Countdown. The competition took place at the BSS Elementary school where all students were very involved in the challenges they had to face. The children showcased passion for solving cases in order to get to the finals of the Houses Competition. At the same time they demonstrated individual skills, like resilience and motivation, as well as important interpersonal abilities.

The four houses performed excellently and collected a high number of points within the different categories, but the outstanding one is Phoenix.

Phoenix displayed individual and team advantages that led them to the result. Their overall point score is 450 and we declare them this month`s winners.

The Houses Competition is something found in many British Schools. It encourages teamwork and healthy competition amongst students. The idea of this competition is to divide pupils into groups and thus create smaller communities within the large one.
