School not in Session - 23 October

23 Oct 2020
Due to a COVID-19 case in Grade 4 the senior leadership of BSS has decided that all three campuses of BSS will be closed from tomorrow Friday, 23rd of October and reopen on Monday, 2nd of November.

Disinfection has already been done in Grade 4 classrooms and the whole school will be disinfected during the Autumn holiday. Both grade 4 classes have been closed and learning has gone online for them, as per the guidance from the Ministry of Health. The student with a positive PCR test was not at school either today, 22nd October or yesterday, 21st October.

After the holiday, the nurse will have fast test kits in the medical room. If the nurse feels that there is a possibility that the child may be displaying symptoms of Covid rather than flu, they will administer the test and give the information to the parents.

The Halloween Celebration for grade 1 to 3 will be postponed for the week after the break. The Halloween Celebration at the main school building has also been postponed and further information will be available soon.

As the next week is our Autumn holiday we expect students to be back to school on Monday, 2nd November.
