May 24: Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature

This is a Bulgarian official holiday celebrating the work of the Slavic educators Cyril and Methodius and Bulgarian education and culture, including the creation of the Cyrillic alphabet in the Orthodox Book School.

On this occasion, the days from Wednesday, May 24 to Friday, May 26 are non-school days for BSS. We look forward to seeing our students back on Monday, May 29.
