BSS Kindergarten Learning Process

The Kindergarten curriculum stimulates the rapid and harmonious development of children. Our educational process is varied and interesting. We strive to engage the children and encourage their curiosity for learning. We aim to make children understand that there is a link between life in the kindergarten, home and the world around us. Helping the children understand this relationship is the first step in building a solid foundation for their future education.

We have 4 Kindergarten groups:

  • Pre-Nursery - children 2 - 3 years old
  • Nursery 1 - children 3.5 - 4 years old
  • Nursery 2 - children 4.5 - 5 years old
  • Reception - children 5.5 - 6 years old

The teachers realise in practice the strategy of active learning process. Pupils are the principal characters of their own learning. Supported, guided and directed by their teachers, they discover, investigate and create.

The teachers and students know about the aims that should be fulfilled, in details, during the process of monitoring and analysing, following the methods of training or learning techniques, as well as procedures of assessment applied. All these are exactly and clearly defined.

Parents are well acquainted with it, throughout information given by their children and the school.

The variety of learning facilities – computers, interactive boards and other electronic units, cooperate to increase the effectiveness and personification. For example, work in a team through Internet with children from other countries, or individual “home works”, sent to the teachers by e-mails and a lot of contacts in real time.

We should also mention the abundance of creative approaches by teachers and students, who together take part in the active learning process.
