Reading Eggs is a popular online reading program for children created by expert educators with over 30 years of experience. It uses a variety of interactive games, activities, and lessons to make reading fun and engaging for kids.

Reading Eggs is based on solid scientific research and is focused on the five essential keys to reading success, namely, phonics and phonemic awareness, sight words, vocabulary, comprehension, and reading for meaning.

Recently, a reading competition was held at the British school of Sofia. 152 young readers took the opportunity to participate and develop their literacy abilities. Winners were split into two categories according to their age and length of the books.

“Reading is an essential skill for academic success, and we believe that initiatives like this help to make learning enjoyable and rewarding for our students.’’ noted Radostina Dancheva (IPC & IMYC Lead) as she festively announced the winners and handed out the certificates.

The competition was a success, with many students participating and showing significant progress in their ability to read.
