Once again great achievements for our students in the World Scholar’s Cup – Sofia Round 2022!

Students competed in Debating, Creative Writing and General Knowledge quizzes, as very important skill to show throughout was the ability to assert themselves. British School of Sofia was presented by 7 teams (total of 20 students), out of which 6 teams continue to the next Global Round.

We are extremely proud to present them and the awards they have received:

1. Team: Kardam (grade 8), Mara (grade 8), Amelie (grade 8) - 16 Gold and 10 Silver Medals, including: 2^nd place Overall, Junior, Global Qualifiers; 1^st place in category Team Challenge, Junior Division; 1^st place in category Team Debate, Junior; 3^rd place in category Team Writing, Junior
2. Team: Enxi (grade 7), Ryan (grade 7), Luna (grade 8) - 3 Gold and 3 Silver Medals
3. Team: Iana (grade 8), Madlen (grade 8), Ela (grade 8) - 3 Gold and 3 Silver Medals
4. Team: Akshaya (grade 9), Branimira (grade 9) - 1 Gold and 1 Silver Medals
5. Team: Antonia (grade 10), Lia (grade 10), Marnus (grade 10) - 10 Gold and 4 Silver Medals, including: 3^rd place in category Team Debate, Senior
6. Team: Daria (grade 10), Adam (grade 11), David (grade 11) - 4 Gold and 4 Silver Medals
7. Ivan (grade 11), Bartlomiej (grade 11), Angiras (grade 11) - 18 Gold and 12 Silver Medals, including: 3^rd place, Overall, Senior, Global Qualifiers; 1st place in category Debate Champions, Senior Division for Angiras; 2^nd place in category Team Debate, Senior; 3^rd place in category Team Writing, Senior
