Welcome to BSS Summer School 2023
Welcome to BSS Summer School Programmes suitable for children 2 - 14 years old.
This year children can benefit from four different programmes during the Summer School on a weekly basis:
Summer@BSS Kindergarten for children 2 – 5 years old;
Young Engineers Programme for children 6 – 14 years old;
Young Scientists Programme for children 6 – 14 years old;
Young Artists Programme for children 6 – 14 years old;
Children from all over the world meet to spend time together, to improve their English, to play, have fun and to experience unforgettable moments.
Summer School 2023 will start on 26 June and will finish on 18 August for all programmes.
Children are welcome between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning, finish at 16:00 and latest pick-up time is 17:00.
Minimum enrollment period is one week.

Summer School Program:
The summer school program offers each child a dynamic learning journey, that consists of daily English lessons, activities depending on the programme they chose, sport and outside the school educational trips.
There are four English lessons every day. The program complies with the Common European Framework. Children are split into groups, according to their age and level of English which is vital for their rapid progress. The interactive lessons comprise of grammar and vocabulary, focusing on spoken English.
We do not follow a textbook during the summer school, we learn through Classic Tales series and Jolly Phonics especially adapted for language learning.
Full - day education and communication are performed in English so that children are fully immersed in an English-speaking environment.
Important Information:
- Every Thursday before a new period starts, you will receive an email with useful information (schedule, what to bring, menu, etc);
- Learning materials – books, notebooks, stationery are provided by the school and are included in the fee;
- Two BSS branded T-shirts will be provided to each child at the start. You can buy extra T-shirt for the cost of 25 levs.
Your child's progress will be significant!
- Maximum number of students in a group is 15;
- 20 English lessons per week;
- Language skills: speaking, reading, writing.
